Though the WWE Summerslam franchise has fallen to a definitive third place among WWE’s big shows–with WrestleMania and Royal Rumble in the top two spots–it remains the second biggest “event” for the company each year.
That means that the annual summer spectacular welcomes some big celebrities and wrestling industry standouts to the site of the show each year; several such names are backstage for tonight’s pay-per-view.
Among those present, according to PWInsider, are “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, Mike Tyson and Jim Ross.
All three were present in Los Angeles to do promotional work for the WWE ’13 video game, and none is formally scheduled for the show. That, of course, is not to say an appearance is impossible.
