Comedy Central confirmed Tuesday that it will air a “Roast of Charlie Sheen” on September 19, the same night on which CBS’ “Two and a Half Men,” now with Ashton Kutcher in the lead role, premieres its ninth season.
“You could say I’ve been providing kindling for this Roast for a while,” said Sheen of the roast, which tapes September 10. “It’s time to light it up. It’s going to be epic.”
The episode, certain to be well-rated by “Roast” standards, airs at 10PM ET that night, a half hour after fans will have seen what CBS’ “Men” will be able to offer without Sheen’s contribution.
