“Community” Webisodes with Dean Pelton Debut, NBC Cancels New Series “Undercovers”

— While most of NBC’s roster, including the low-rated “Chase,” managed to secure full season pickups, the luck did not extend to “Undercovers.”

NBC confirmed Thursday that the low-rated drama has been officially canceled. Despite the constant name-dropping of producer JJ Abrams, the show never got going from a ratings standpoint, and its most recent airing Wednesday scored a mere 1.3 adults 18-49 rating with 5.91 million viewers.

Fans of the series can take some comfort in the fact that the network has, nonetheless, indicated an interest in airing the remaining produced episodes.

  1. I whish I could email NBC. They take a decent show and “can” it. Oh, I am sure they will replace it with some idiotic reality show or some other piece of crap. Thanks NBC, maybe I will buy a TV that doesn’t receive your broadcasts!
