“Brothers” Ratings Still Poor as “Dollhouse” Rebounds

FOX’s Friday comedy hour continues to be one of the worst-performing segments on network television, and one would have to assume “‘Til Death” and “Brothers” will be in jeopardy when FOX makes decisions on the rest of the season.

Friday’s “Brothers” garnered merely 2.3 million viewers with a 0.8 in adults 18-49. “Til Death” pulled the same adults demo rating but aired for a total of 2.4 million viewers.

In the head-to-head adults rating battle, the FOX hour lost to The CW’s “Smallville,” which disappointed in its own right with 2.3 million viewers and a 0.9 rating.

Though it is hardly the kind of rebound needed to change the game for “Dollhouse,” the show did uptick slightly from last week’s series-low. Friday’s showing posted a 1.0 adults 18-49 rating with 2.2 million viewers.

CBS also saw some improvement–“Ghost Whisperer” jumped more than 20% to 8.6 million viewers with a 2.1 demo rating. NBC’s “Law & Order” also moved up in the 8PM hour, pulling 7.2 million viewers and a 1.5 rating.
