“This Is Us,” “Westworld,” “Stranger Things,” “The Crown” Score Big Golden Globe Nominations

This Is Us [NBC]

Beacons of critical acclaim and fan buzz, NBC’s “This Is Us,” HBO’s “Westworld,” and Netflix’s “Stranger Things” and “The Crown” are among the shows in contention for Best TV Series – Drama at this year’s Golden Globe Awards.

The four series will challenge reigning Emmy winner “Game Of Thrones” in this year’s race. “Mr. Robot,” which won last year’s Globe in this category, is not in contention.

All five series also scored at least one acting nomination.

Hosted by Jimmy Fallon, the Golden Globes ceremony takes place January 8. The TV nominations are as follows:
