WWE RAW Rating Smoked By ESPN’s Monday Night Football Debut

And so it begins.

Having spent most of the summer in soft ratings territory as it is, Monday Night RAW tumbled for its first head-to-head outing with Monday Night Football this season.

The USA Network wrestling program averaged a mere 1.5 adults 18-49 rating, off hours of 1.4 and 1.5. The cable coverage rating came in at an unimpressive 2.71.

The show’s viewership average fell below 4 million, clocking in at a disappointing 3.86 million.

Football, meanwhile, was king. The Patriots-Dolphins game averaged a 6.3 adults 18-49 rating with 14.57 million viewers, while the Raiders-Broncos game was good for a 5.4 and 11.11 million viewers.
