Kevin Nash is not the only wrestling veteran with whom CM Punk seems to like to trade words. The WWE main-eventer recently had a back-and-forth with announcer Jim Ross on Twitter.
It all began when CM Punk seemed to come down hard on having to make the trip from a house show in Little Rock, Arkansas to Monday’s RAW in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He pointed out crossing Toad Suck, AR along the way.
“Driving through Toad Suck Arkansas, for all y’all that think my life is glamorous,” Tweeted Punk.
“Good ol'” JR responded, “Do you think that you’re the only rassler to make the drive from Little Rock to Tulsa? Try it every week for $25-40.”
Not one to be one-upped, Punk then fired back, “No, but I do think I’m the only wrestler left that still would do it every week for thirty bucks. Sauce it.”
At that point, Jim Ross calmed down the back-and-forth by simply returning praise for the “good point.”
