WWE Questions Anonymous RAW General Manager Storyline

Although the laptop podium has appeared since, no significant reference to the anonymous RAW general manager has been made since Triple H was scripted to “take over” WWE as the COO.

It remains unclear whether WWE has any specific plans to call back that angle, but WWE.com has at least not forgotten that the mystery has not yet been solved.

Speaking about SmackDown! GM Teddy Long’s intentions for Super SmackDown!, a kayfabe WWE.com article points out that RAW could be vulnerable without true leadership:

“There is also the unavoidable fact that Raw stands without official leadership at the moment,” reveals the article. “Even though the anonymous Raw General Manager has been absent for some time, WWE COO Triple H has stepped forth to make several huge decisions on the Monday night phenomenon. However, despite his Raw presence, the COO is in reality, an officer of the entire WWE. He has just as much interest in the well-being of SmackDown that he has with Raw. Could the very notion that there is no direct opposition to his actions be tempting the SmackDown GM to take advantage of the situation?”

As has been previously noted, wrestlers from RAW and SmackDown! will be on the live Tuesday show.
