WWE Has More Plans For The Rock, Plans for New WWE TV Show?

WWE Chairman Vince McMahon says that The Rock will appear on “multiple” pay-per-views as part of his renewed collaboration with the wrestling organization.

McMahon addressed the situation during an investor conference call Thursday, confirming The Rock’s pay-per-view presence will not be limited to WrestleMania.

As McMahon used the term “multiple” to describe Rock’s pay-per-view involvement beyond WrestleMania, it would seem the wrestler-turned-actor will be involved in more than just November’s Survivor Series.

— At multiple times on the call, Vince McMahon teased an idea for a new weekly television series. McMahon did not share details of the idea but said it would be a live, one-hour lead-in to the weekly Monday Night RAW telecast.
