Chris Jericho’s WWE Status, WWE NXT Ratings Down Slightly

Although the final cable rating has not yet been released, indications are that this week’s taped WWE NXT, which featured a lengthy match between Cody Rhodes and MVP, suffered a minor audience decline.

Viewership dropped from 1.178 million viewers to 1.130 million, according to a report on Mediaweek. The adults 18-49 rating fell from a 0.4 to a 0.3, while the aggregate household rating was down from a 0.8 to a 0.7. The cable rating (what non-television insiders refer to as “the rating”) should be available soon.

Update: The show did a 0.9 cable rating.

— According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Chris Jericho has still not signed a contract renewal with WWE. At press time, there was no strong indication either way regarding his WWE future.
