Aided by “on the hour” support from iHeartMedia stations and the enthusiasm one would expect for a new Selena Gomez single, “It Ain’t Me” received impressive amount of first-day airplay.
Credited to Kygo x Selena Gomez, “It Ain’t Me” closed day one with 1,129 spins. It takes #33 on the Mediabase building pop chart, which ranks songs based on the first five days of the February 12-18 tracking week.
“It Ain’t Me” will not receive as many spins on Friday or Saturday, but it will have no trouble retaining its Top 40 position through the close of tracking. Entry into the Top 30 is a possibility.
A co-release from Ultra Music (on behalf of Kygo) and Interscope Records (on behalf of Gomez), “It Ain’t Me” is labeled a “standalone track.” It is currently in the Top 3 on the US iTunes sales chart.
