Update: Making good on a common fan prediction, ABC has confirmed that Weezer, Fall Out Boy and Green Day will be the mystery musical guests on “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”

Weezer will perform on the September 10 episode, while Fall Out Boy and Green Day will perform on 9/11 and 9/12, respectively. The three acts just announced their collaborative “Hella Mega Tour,” and it was the rumor of that tour that prompted “Kimmel” speculation.

ABC’s updated “Kimmel” listings follow:

Tuesday, Sept. 10
1. Ed Helms (“Corporate Animals”) 2. Don Lemon (“CNN Tonight with Don Lemon”) 3. Musical Guest Weezer

Wednesday, Sept. 11
1. Sharon Osbourne (“The Talk”) 2. Bill Burr 3. Muscial Guest Fall Out Boy

Thursday, Sept. 12
1. Sean Penn (“Bob Honey Sings Jimmy Crack Corn”) 2. Danielle Macdonald (“Unbelievable”) 3. Musical Guest Green Day

Friday, Sept. 13 (OAD: 9/4)
1. Dr. Phil McGraw (“Dr. Phil”) 2. Method Man (“Wu-Tang: An American Saga”) 3. Musical Guest Shaed

ABC will air four original “Jimmy Kimmel Live” episodes during the week of September 9.

Per press listings from ABC, all four will feature a musical performance. Only one of those musical guests has been officially announced, however.

ABC’s press blast lists Trisha Yearwood as the musical performer for September 9 and then a “mystery musical guest” for the September 10, 11 and 12 episodes. It is unclear if it will be the same guest engaging in a three-night residency — or different performers each night.

Stay tuned for updates. For now, here are ABC’s official “Kimmel” listings:

Monday, Sept. 9
1. Chelsea Handler (“Hello, Privilege. It’s Me, Chelsea”) 2. JD Pardo (“Mayans M.C.”) 3. Musical Guest Trisha Yearwood
