In the build-up to this week’s Billboard Latin Music Awards ceremony, the RIAA issued a new certification to one of the biggest recent Latin hits.

Anuel AA & Karol G’s “Secreto,” that song, attained diamond status under the RIAA’s Latin Program.

Issued April 24, the award confirms 600,000 in US units. One unit is equal to a paid download or 150 streams.

“Secreto” has been a particularly strong force on the video streaming front.

Featuring an adjusted radio, the Latin Program honors music with content that is primarily in Spanish.
