Ava Max’s “Sweet But Psycho” crosses another impressive checkpoint on the US iTunes sales chart.

The international breakthrough hit entered the Top 10 on the store’s all-genre listing Tuesday. It occupies the #10 position as of press time at 8:20AM ET.

The sales increase coincides with airplay gains at radio and overall growth in buzz. “Sweet But Psycho” is also beginning to show strength on the streaming front.

“Sweet But Psycho,” moreover, earned a Top 40 position on this week’s Billboard Hot 100.

Headline Planet first identified “Sweet But Psycho” as a potential hit, praising its “perfect pop chorus” last fall. All indications are that it will indeed become a big deal in America.

It already is a chart-topper in key international markets like the United Kingdom.
