Tyga’s “Taste (featuring Offset)” will very likely rise to #1 on this week’s Mediabase rhythmic radio chart.
“Taste” received 2,812 spins during the first three days of the August 26-September 1 tracking period. The count, which tops last week’s mark by 8%, positions “Taste” at #1 on the building/real-time chart.
While “Taste” only maintains a 17-spin lead over Drake’s building #2 “In My Feelings,” it has the clear momentum advantage. Whereas “Taste” is up by 8% from last week, “In My Feelings” is down by 6%.
If they remain on those trajectories, “Taste” will have a comfortable lead by the end of tracking.
“In My Feelings” spent the past four weeks at #1.
