Update: Thursday’s “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” walked viewers through the history of television theme songs.

Guest Will Smith, whose 1990s sitcom “The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air” features one of TV’s most iconic theme songs, accompanied Jimmy Fallon for the musical segment. The bit closed with said “Fresh Prince” theme.

Will Smith also appeared for an interview on Thursday’s “Tonight Show.”

Thursday’s “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” features a very high-profile guest — and a very exciting piece of musical comedy.

Will Smith, said guest, accompanies Fallon for a “History Of TV Theme Songs” performance.

The superstar entertainer also participates in an interview on Thursday’s broadcast.
