While formal promotion will not commence until the New Year, Kesha’s “Woman (featuring The Dap-King Horns)” is beginning to receive major market airplay at pop radio.
According to Mediabase, San Francisco’s WiLD 94.9 and Los Angeles’ 102.7 KIIS are the biggest supporters.
WiLD 94.9 played the song 17 times in the 7 days ending December 20, while KIIS offered 16 spins within that window.
Other early supporters include Milwaukee’s 103.7 KISS (3 spins), Albuquerque’s 93.3 KOB (2 spins) and Green Bay/Appleton’s 95.9 Kiss (2 spins).
“Woman” is set as the follow-up to Kesha’s “Praying,” which peaked in the Top 10 at pop radio. Kesha is also receiving pop airplay as a featured artist on Macklemore’s “Good Old Days.”
