As of press time at 9:15AM ET Thursday, Taylor Swift occupies the top two slots on the US iTunes song sales chart. Her “…Ready For It?” is #1, while “Look What You Made Me Do.”
The #3 song is the debut single from Gabbie Hanna.
The YouTube personality’s single rocketed to the #3 position following its release Wednesday.
It is currently selling half as quickly as “Ready For It” and 59% as quickly as “Look.” While those may seem like big margins, keep in mind that no other song has come as close to “Look” since it roared to #1 the night of its release (late August 24/early August 25). No song has come as close to “Ready For It” since it hit #1 this past Sunday.
The lyric video is, predictably, making a big splash on iTunes. It has amassed 1.6 million views as of press time (about 18 hours from release).
