In 2015, One Direction made two appearances on CBS’ “The Late Late Show With James Corden.”

Beginning in late-night 2016, the members began to appear on the show as solo artists.

Niall Horan visited the show in October of that year, while Louis Tomlinson took the “Corden” stage in February 2017.

Harry Styles appeared for a week-long residency in May 2017; he also appeared on a London-based episode in June.

Wednesday night, Liam Payne paid his first solo visit to the show.

Payne joined host James Corden for a “Riff-Off.” He later appeared as a discussion guest alongside James Van Der Beek and Jim Gaffigan. Payne then closed the show with a musical performance.

The episode began airing at 12:35AM on the east coast (and will air at that time on the west coast). Videos will be posted upon availability.
