The RIAA confirms that Johnson’s “You’re Welcome” earned a platinum certification on July 10, 2017.

The award confirms 1 million in US units. Each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

“You’re Welcome” appears on the soundtrack to the animated Disney film “Moana.”
