Christina Perri’s hit singles “A Thousand Years” and “Human” just earned new multi-platinum certifications in the United States.
According to the RIAA, the former went 6x platinum on July 7, 2017. The latter went 2x platinum on the same day.
The awards respectively confirm 6 million and 2 million in US units. Each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.
“A Thousand Years” appears on the soundtrack to “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part One.” “Human” appears on Perri’s studio album “Head or Heart.”
