CBS just confirmed plans to air a special based on the “We Day” activism series.
The one-hour broadcast will air at 8PM EDT on Friday, August 4. Portions of the special were filmed at We Day California, which took place at the Forum this past April.
Selena Gomez, who hosted the California event, will host the TV broadcast alongside We Day co-founders Craig and Marc Kielburger.
In addition to Gomez, the one-hour TV broadcast will feature appearances by Alessia Cara, James Franco, Josh Gad, Tyrese Gibson, Evan Goldberg, Alicia Keys, DJ Khaled, Demi Lovato, Miss Piggy and other Muppets, Seth Rogen, Hannah Simone, Lilly Singh, Stomp and Oprah Winfrey.
