Ratings: “Fear The Walking Dead” Falls From Season 3 Premiere, Sets Low

Sunday’s edition of “Fear The Walking Dead” posted series lows in adults 18-49 and overall viewership.

It still, however, ranked as cable’s #1 Sunday original in adults 18-49.

According to live+same-day data posted by Showbuzz, Sunday’s “Fear The Walking Dead” drew a 1.02 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 2.50 million overall viewers.

The previous week’s two-hour season premiere averaged a 1.11 adults 18-49 rating and 2.90 million overall viewers.

This week’s figures actually rank as lows for the series.

They nonetheless hold up well from a competitive standpoint. The adults 18-49 rating was the best posted by a cable original this Sunday, while the viewership figure was the second-best (below NASCAR coverage on FOX Sports).

In terms of the overall competitive sphere, this Sunday’s “Fear The Walking Dead” aired opposite game six of the Stanley Cup.

A solid ratings performer, the NHL game’s figures nonetheless pale in comparison to those posted by last weekend’s NBA Finals game.
