The BPI issued two platinum single certifications this week.
One went to One Direction’s “Perfect.” The other was issued to Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee’s “Despacito (featuring Justin Bieber).”
The certifications confirm 600,000 in UK units.
“Perfect” peaked at #2 on the Official UK Singles chart; “Despacito” is the UK’s reigning #1 song.
