The Chainsmokers’ global smash “Closer (featuring Halsey)” is still clicking with Australian music fans.
The song, which holds at #9 on this week’s ARIA Australian Top 50 Singles Chart, just earned a 7x platinum certification in the Land Down Under.
Per the terms of the ARIA gold and platinum program, the certification confirms 490,000 Australian units.
“Closer” spent several weeks at #1 in Australia earlier this year.
