Twenty One Pilots’ “Heavydirtysoul” Earns Most Added Honor At Alternative Radio

In “Stressed Out,” “Ride,” and “Heathens,” Twenty One Pilots has scored three straight number ones at alternative radio.

Will “Heavydirtysoul” become the fourth?

We’ll find out soon. What we know right now, however, is that it claims the top spot on this week’s alternative radio add board.

The “Blurryface” cut was added by 11 Mediabase-monitored stations this week.

Picked up by 7 stations, Mondo Cozmo’s “Shine” registers as second-most added. The Lumineers’ “Cleopatra” and Phantogram’s “Same Old Blues” follow in a tie for third place; each garnered 5 adds.

Credited with 4 adds each, Green Day’s “Still Breathing,” K.Flay’s “Blood In The Cut,” The Revivalists’ “Wish I Knew You,” The xx’s “On Hold,” and Young The Giant’s “Silvertongue” follow in a tie for fifth place.

Four songs — Dirty Heads’ “Oxygen,” Dreamers’ “Sweet Disaster,” Highly Suspect’s “My Name Is Human,” and Milky Chance’s “Cocoon” — land in a tie for tenth-most added. Each song received 3 adds this week.
