The ratings horror story continues for FOX’s “Scream Queens.” Tuesday’s episode set new lows in adults 18-49 and total viewership.
According to fast national data posted by Showbuzz, the broadcast drew a soft 0.5 adults 18-49 rating and 1.18 million total viewers. The numbers trail the 0.6 rating and 1.42 million total viewer sum garnered by last week’s broadcast.
While one can potentially blame Thanksgiving Week for the week-to-week decline — last year’s Thanksgiving Week episode was the first season’s least-watched installment — “Scream Queens” has been struggling all fall (and, really, since debuting last season). It is simply not clicking with a live+same-day viewers.
Earlier in the night, FOX aired “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” (0.9, 2.19 million vs. 0.9, 2.18 million last week) and “New Girl” (0.8, 1.79 million vs. 1.0, 1.94 million last week).
