The Disney Parks holiday celebration will yield three broadcasts for the ABC family of networks.
The first will be a Thanksgiving night special, airing from 8-10PM on ABC. Julianne and Derek Hough will host, while Kelly Clarkson, Trisha Yearwood, and Garth Brooks will perform.
A second, “Descendants”-themed special will air the following night on Disney Channel. Clarkson, Yearwood, Brooks, Forever In Your Mind, and cast members from the “Descendants” franchise will perform.
Confirmed for Christmas morning, the third special will air on ABC from 9-11AM ET on Christmas morning. Julianne and Derek Hough will again host, while performances from Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood will again be featured.
Sofia Carson will perform “Silent Night” (a different arrangement from her performance on the 11/25 broadcast) and appear as the special’s backstage host.
Jordan Fisher is also slated for the broadcast; the recording artist and “Hamilton” cast member will perform “The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on An Open Fire).”
Additional performances will be announced in the coming weeks.
