As 2016 draws to a close, CMT is turning its attention to a group of female artists it believes represent future stars within the genre.
The network officially revealed its 2016 “Next Women Of Country” roster:

Maggie Rose

“Hand-selected by CMT, the broad-ranging list of newcomers includes signed and unsigned female artists and groups who each have their own musical style and story to share,” says CMT of its list.
The “Next Women of Country” will be spotlighted across CMT and its digital properties. Past selections include current genre standouts like Kacey Musgraves, Kelsea Ballerini and Maren Morris.
