Bruno Mars Opening 2016 American Music Awards

Wednesday morning, the American Music Awards team made good on its promise to announce the first performer for the 2016 AMAs ceremony.

It’s a big one.

Bruno Mars will be taking the stage at the November 20 ceremony — and he will do so first. The “24K Magic” is slated to open the annual awards show.

Additional performers will be announced soon.
