For the fourth straight week, AMC’s “Preacher” posted gains in adults 18-49 and total viewership. “Ride With Norman Reedus” enjoyed its second consecutive weekly rise.
According to live+same-day data posted by Showbuzz, Sunday’s “Preacher” posted a 0.63 adults 18-49 rating and 1.65 million total viewers. The numbers top the 0.55 rating and 1.55 million mark drawn by last week’s episode.
“Preacher” has not been a ratings phenomenon, but it is a very solid performer by cable drama standards. Though it is likely aided by a decline in competition, the recent string of increases is particularly worthy of praise.
“Preacher” led into the “Ride With Norman Reedus” season finale, which drew a 0.21 adults 18-49 rating and 0.63 million total viewers. The numbers narrowly best the 0.20 rating and 0.61 million viewer mark posted by last week’s episode.
