Ratings: “KC Undercover” Rises This Week, “Bizaardvark,” “Backstage” Decline

While the audience level was again well below the show’s average, Sunday’s “KC Undercover” did outperform the previous week’s broadcast in adults 18-49 and total viewership.

Lead-out “Bizaardvark,” meanwhile, fell from last week’s already modestly rated timeslot premiere. 9PM series “Backstage” was also down week-to-week.

According to live+same-day data posted by Showbuzz, Sunday’s “KC Undercover” drew a 0.28 adults 18-49 rating and 1.31 million total viewers. The numbers top the 0.22 rating and 1.24 million viewer mark drawn by last week’s episode.

A week-to-week increase is difficult to criticize, but it is similarly difficult to ignore the broad decline suffered by “KC Undercover” this summer. Not one May, June or July episode has reached 1.5 million in live+same-day viewership; only one of the thirty three episodes that aired prior to May failed to reach that threshold.

“Bizaardvark” followed with a 0.19 adults 18-49 rating and 1.07 million total viewers. The numbers trail the 0.20 rating and 1.19 million sum drawn by last week’s time period premiere, which were down sharply from those posted by the show’s “Adventures In Babysitting”-assisted Friday night premiere.

“Backstage” followed with a 0.14 adults 18-49 rating and 0.86 million in viewership. Last week’s episode posted a 0.19 and 1.03 million.
