“Needed Me,” the follow-up to Rihanna’s chart-topping “Work (featuring Drake),” is about to become a #1 urban radio hit in its own right.

The “ANTI” single received 3,343 spins during the first five days of the June 26-July 2 tracking week. Up 4.9% from the count at this point last week, the tally slots “Needed Me” at #1 on Mediabase’s building chart.

Absent an imminent threat, “Needed Me” will have no trouble retaining its #1 position through the close of tracking.

“Needed Me” will seize the throne from Kent Jones’ “Don’t Mind,” which is down to #2 on the building chart (3,234 during the first five days, -5.6%).
