“Stressed Out” was formally certified 3X platinum by the RIAA. The certification confirms a US unit total of at least 3 million, with one unit being equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.
“Stressed Out” is the first twenty one pilots single to reach platinum status, let alone ascend to the 3x-platinum threshold.
The song peaked at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100.
