Meghan Trainor’s “Me Too” Receiving Early Pop Airplay; Kansas City’s Mix 93.3 Leading The Way

While it does not officially impact until May 17, Meghan Trainor’s “Me Too” is already receiving airplay at the pop radio format.

The second “Thank You” single has received in the neighborhood of 150 pop spins since its release; one pop station has already played the song more than ten times.

Kansas City’s Mix 93.3, that station, had provided “Me Too” with 11 spins through May 6. Detroit’s 98.7 AMP, Beaumont’s Q94, and Macon’s B95.1 each offered 8 spins, while HD98.3 and Tampa’s Hot 101.5 contributed 7 each.

Thirteen additional stations (a list that includes major stations in Chicago, San Francisco, Houston, and Miami) have played the song between 4 and 7 times, while many others have played it least twice.

“Me Too” is also beginning to pick up support at Hot AC radio, where it officially impacts on May 16.

The early “Me Too” support comes as previous single “NO” fades at both formats. It will be down to either #12 or #13 on this week’s final Mediabase pop chart (it peaked at #7) and likely stationary at its #6 peak (but down in spins) on the Hot AC listing.
