Adele’s “When We Were Young” Reaches #20 On Billboard Hot 100

The second single from Adele’s smash album “25” reaches a new peak on the all-encompassing Billboard Hot 100.

“When We Were Young,” that single, enjoys a nine-place lift to #20 on the chart. It had previously peaked at #22.

The lift comes following the song’s debut on streaming networks. Gains in airplay — and a solid weekly US sales total of 41,587 — also contribute to the new position on the all-encompassing chart.

“When We Were Young” is one of two Adele singles on this week’s Hot 100. “Hello,” the other, is #6.
