Florida Georgia Line’s “Stay” Reaches 2X Platinum, Blake Shelton’s “Sangria” Earns Platinum Honor

Hit country singles from two high-profile country acts earned new RIAA certifications on January 29, 2016.

“Stay,” a radio single from Florida Georgia Line’s “Here’s To The Good Times,” ascended to 2x platinum status. The certification confirms a US unit total of at least 2 million.

Blake Shelton’s 2015 hit “Sangria,” meanwhile, earned a platinum mark (1 million) from the RIAA.

At the time of certification, one unit was equal to 1 paid download or 100 streams. The streaming requirement has since been elevated to 150.
