Fall Out Boy’s “Young Volcanoes” Earns Gold Certification

Island Records secured a handful of RIAA certifications on January 29, 2016.

One of those was for Fall Out Boy’s “Young Volcanoes,” which was officially confirmed as gold under the RIAA’s digital singles program.

The gold honor confirms a US unit total of 500,000. At the time of certification, a unit was equal to 1 paid download or 100 streams.

“Young Volcanoes” appears as the band’s “Save Rock and Roll.”
