Making good on Headline Planet’s projection, Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello’s “I Know What You Did Last Summer” officially enters the Top 15 on this week’s Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.
Spun ~6,974 times during the January 3-9 tracking week (+800), “IKWYDLS” rises two places to #15 on this week’s chart.
In reaching the Top 15, “Summer” becomes Shawn Mendes’ second consecutive (and second overall) song to reach the Top 15. Previous entry “Stitches” reached #1 on the Mediabase listing.
“IKWYDLS” is meanwhile Cabello’s first Top 15 hit outside of Fifth Harmony. With her group’s singles included, it represents her second Top 15 entry. Her group’s “Worth It (featuring Kid Ink)” peaked inside the Top 5 last year.
— “IKWYDLS” is the week’s only addition to the Top 15. The Top 20 also plays host to one addition.
Adele’s “When We Were Young,” that song, rises five places to #17. It received ~5,513 tracking week spins (+1,472).
