Daya’s “Hide Away” Crosses The 500K US Sales Mark

Daya’s “Hide Away,” which was already certified gold based on its combined number of sales and streaming units, recently crossed the 500,000 pure US sales mark.

According to Nielsen Music, the artist’s debut single sold 86,000 US copies during the December 25-31 tracking week. Enough for a new peak position of #22 on Digital Songs, the weekly tally brought the song’s cumulative US total to 506,000.

The impressive weekly sales figure also helps “Hide Away” crack the Top 40 on this week’s all-encompassing Billboard Hot 100. As previously reported by Headline Planet, “Hide Away” jumps eleven places to #31 on the chart, which accounts for sales, streams, and airplay.
