Cam’s “Burning House” Ranks As The Mediabase Country Radio Panel’s #1 Song

Cam [RCA]

While the Country Aircheck newsletter is not expected to formally publish a chart this week, Mediabase did officially record, rank, and report country airplay data for the December 13-19 tracking period.

That data identifies Cam’s “Burning House” as country radio’s top song.

Up three places from last week’s position, “Burning House” seizes #1 from Blake Shelton’s “Gonna.” Shelton’s 16th-straight #1 hit slips to #5 this week.

“Burning House” is Cam’s first country radio #1.

Not simply the leader in weekly Mediabase chart points (26,511), Cam’s Grammy-nominated breakthrough also ranks as the Mediabase country panel’s most-played and most-heard song.

“Burning House” received 8,239 spins (+925) and 57.431 million audience impressions during the December 13-19 tracking period.

Sandwiched between “Burning House” (#1) and “Gonna” (#5) are Thomas Rhett’s “Die A Happy Man” (#2, +1), Jason Aldean’s “Gonna Know We Were Here” (#3, -1) and Brothers Osborne’s “Stay A Little Longer” (#4, -1).
