Jordan Smith’s “Somebody To Love” Takes #1 on Digital Songs, #21 on Hot 100

Jordan Smith’s “The Voice” recordings continue to achieve tremendous success.

Thanks to weekly sales of 164,000, his “Somebody To Love” starts at #1 on the Digital Songs chart. Yes, that means it posted a greater weekly digital sales total than Adele’s “Hello” (158,000).

Smith’s take on the Queen classic concurrently debuts at #21 on the all-encompassing Hot 100, which accounts for combined activity from sales, streaming, and radio airplay. In the case of “Somebody To Love,” the overwhelming majority of that activity came from the aforementioned sales figure.

Smith is representing Team Adam in this week’s “The Voice” finale.
