Adele’s “When We Were Young” Repeats as Hot AC Radio’s Most-Added Song

The follow-up to Adele’s chart-topping “Hello” continues to garner support from hot adult contemporary radio programmers.

Picked up by 24 Mediabase-monitored stations this week, Adele’s “When We Were Young” again ranks as the format’s most-added song.

“When We Were Young” is already one of the 30 most-played songs at Hot AC radio. The new support will allow it to continue soaring up the airplay chart.

twenty one pilots’ “Stressed Out,” which also reached the Top 30 on this week’s Hot AC airplay chart, ranks as the week’s second-most-added song. It received pickups from 21 Mediabase-monitored stations.

Justin Bieber’s “Sorry” follows in third with 19 adds, while BORNS’ “Electric Love” earns fourth-most-added on the strength of its 14 pickups. A weekly pickup count of 12 positions The Weeknd’s “In The Night” as the fifth-most-added song.

This week’s other notable Hot AC options: Alessia Cara’s “Here” (11 adds, 6th-most-added), A Great Big World’s “Oasis” (10 adds, 7th, tie), Selena Gomez’ “Same Old Love” (10 adds, 7th, tie), The Band Perry’s “Live Forever” (10 adds, 7th, tie), and Charlie Puth’s “One Call Away” (8 adds, 10th).
