FX’s “Fargo” Renewed for Season Three

FX’s critically acclaimed drama “Fargo” is returning for a third season.

The network confirmed the news in a Monday afternoon press release. Absent ratings data, the release instead focuses on the show’s near-universal critical acclaim.

FX notes that Executive Producers Hawley, Warren Littlefield, Joel & Ethan Coen, and John Cameron will return for round three of the anthology-oriented drama.

“Year two of Fargo is an extraordinary achievement and, given Noah Hawley’s masterful storytelling, we can’t wait to see where the third, all-new version of Fargo takes us,” says FX’s Eric Schrier. “Our thanks to Noah, Warren, Joel & Ethan, John and our partners at MGM Television for making Fargo such a memorable and rewarding journey.”
