Carrie Underwood’s “Smoke Break” Officially Claims #1 at Country Radio

“Smoke Break,” the lead single from Carrie Underwood’s “Storyteller,” is officially the #1 song on Mediabase’s country radio singles chart.

The song, which rises two places from last week’s position, follows “Little Toy Guns” as Underwood’s second consecutive Mediabase #1.

It seizes the throne from Cole Swindell’s “Let Me See Ya Girl,” which drops to #6 on this week’s chart.

Not simply the leader in Mediabase chart points, “Smoke Break” also ranks as the Mediabase country panel’s most-played and most-heard song this week.

It received ~8,825 spins and ~63.639 million audience impressions during the official November 15-21 tracking period (due to changes to the panel and audience weighting, a comparison to last week’s numbers carries little relevance).

Chris Young’s “I’m Comin’ Over” (#2), Dan + Shay’s “Nothin’ Like You” (#3, +1), Blake Shelton’s “Gonna” (#4, +1), and Jason Aldean’s “Gonna Know We Were Here” (#5, +2) complete the Top 5.
