Late last week, Lorde’s smash second single “Team” earned a new certification from the RIAA.

Issued on November 13, 2015, the certification is of the 4x platinum variety. Under the terms of the RIAA’s digital singles program, the certification signifies a US unit total of at least 4 million.

One unit is equal to one paid download or 100 streams.

“Team” is one of two multi-platinum singles from Lorde’s double-platinum debut album “Pure Heroine.”

“Royals,” the other, is 7x platinum in the United States.
