Ratings: Showtime’s “Homeland,” “The Affair” Enjoy Big Gains This Week

Showtime’s Sunday dramas “Homeland” and “The Affair” both enjoyed performance improvements this week.

For “The Affair,” the improvement resulted in the highest viewership mark of the current season.

Airing at 9PM, veteran drama “Homeland” posted what Nielsen reports as a 0.56 adults 18-49 rating with 1.630 million total viewers. The numbers markedly top those of last week’s broadcast, which posted a 0.37 with 1.106 million total audience members.

“The Affair” followed with a 0.23 adults 18-49 rating and 869,000 total viewers. Both numbers top the 0.18 and 648,000 marks delivered by the October 18 episode.

This was the fourth — and most-watched — episode of the second season.
