The Weeknd’s “The Hills,” “Can’t Feel My Face” Certified 4X Platinum in the US

The Weeknd’s “The Hills” and “Can’t Feel My Face,” which both spent time atop the Billboard Hot 100, recently earned new certifications under the RIAA’s digital singles program.

The two “Beauty Behind The Madness” singles are now 4x platinum in the United States.

The Hills” received its 4x honor on October 16, 2015, while “Face” achieved 4x platinum status on October 26.

Under the terms of the RIAA’s digital singles program, the 4x label confirms a US unit total of at least 4 million. One unit equals 1 paid download or 100 streams.

“Can’t Feel My Face” was also retroactively certified 3X platinum on October 26.

— October also brought two other certifications for The Weeknd. His “Often” reached 2X platinum status, while his “Beauty Behind The Madness” earned a gold certification under the RIAA’s standard/album program.
