Fall Out Boy’s “Centuries,” Wiz Khalifa & Charlie Puth’s “See You Again” Reach 4X Platinum

Fall Out Boy and Wiz Khalifa, who toured together this year, both recently earned 4X platinum certifications from the RIAA.

For Fall Out Boy, the certification came on October 16, 2015 and was issued to the band’s “Centuries.”

Issued three days earlier, Wiz Khalifa’s honor was for his #1 Hot 100 hit “See You Again (featuring Charlie Puth).”

Under the terms of the RIAA’s Digital Singles program, the 4X platinum certification confirms a US unit total in excess of 4 million. One unit is equal to 1 paid download or 100 streams.

— October also brought a certification for Fall Out Boy’s “Irresistible.” The track is officially gold.
