Ratings Update: “Quantico” Holds in Demo, Repeats as ABC’s Most-Watched Sunday Show

Final Ratings Update: Like the previous week’s episode, this week’s “Quantico” ranked as ABC’s most-watched Sunday night program. It tied “Once Upon A Time” as ABC’s top-rated such show.

Sunday’s “Quantico,” which was the series’ fourth broadcast, drew a 1.6 adults 18-49 rating with 5.299 million total viewers.

Its 1.6 demo rating matches the previous week’s mark; the 5.299 million viewership total trails the previous week’s 5.747 million mark.

ABC’s other Sunday night programs:
7PM: “America’s Funniest Home Videos” – 0.8, 4.995 million (1.1, 5.333 million last week)
8PM: “Once Upon A Time” – 1.6, 4.922 million (1.6, 5.276 million last week)
9PM: “Blood & Oil” – 0.9, 3.495 million (0.9, 3.908 million last week)

Fast National Ratings Update: While Sunday’s “Quantico” suffered a week-over-week loss in the overnight household ratings, it held steady in the key adults 18-49 demographic.

It also repeated as ABC’s most-watched Sunday night program.

Per fast national data, Sunday’s episode drew a 1.6 adults 18-49 rating with 5.234 million viewers. It ties “Once Upon A Time” (1.6, 4.847 million) as ABC’s #1 Sunday program in adults 18-49 and leads in total viewership.

“America’s Funniest Home Videos,” which drew a 0.8 with 5.046 million, was ABC’s second-most-watched show Sunday night.

Last week’s “Quantico” drew the same 1.6 adults 18-49 rating but a stronger 5.747 million viewership mark.

— ABC’s Sunday night lineup also included “Blood & Oil” (0.9 with 3.496 million this week versus a 0.9 with 3.908 million last week).
====================

ABC’s “Quantico” suffered another slight decline this week, but it still ranked as ABC’s top Sunday night program in terms of household audience.

Sunday’s episode drew a 3.7 overnight household rating. Down from the 4.0 posted by last week’s episode, the mark still topped the 2.4 posted by its “Blood & Oil” lead-in and 3.1 posted by both “America’s Funniest Home Videos” and “Once Upon A Time.”

It remains to be seen how “Quantico” fared in the adults 18-49 demographic, but it will almost certainly compete with “Once Upon A Time” for ABC’s Sunday night crown in that metric.

Since premiering on September 27, “Quantico” has steadily ranked as ABC’s top Sunday series in households. Its previous three episodes also ranked as ABC’s most-watched Sunday night programs, while the first two outright led in adults 18-49. Last week’s episode tied “Once” for #1 in the demo.

“Quantico” last week received an order for additional six episodes. While that brings the count to 19 — rather than the typical 22 — it is still considered a full season order.
